These Terms of Service govern your use of planpuntacana.com (the “Site”), operated by Plan Punta Cana (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What we provide
Plan Punta Cana is an editorial travel guide and trip-planning tool. We publish destination content, stay and experience listings, and tools to help you organize a Punta Cana trip. Our listings include indicative prices, availability notes, and recommendations based on our own review process. We do not book or sell travel directly; any booking happens with the third-party provider you choose to visit.
Your account
To use trip-planning features you may create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights; attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access; scrape, copy, or republish our catalog or content without permission; introduce viruses, spam, or automated traffic intended to disrupt the Site; or use the Site to send unsolicited communications or advertising.
Third-party providers and links
Outbound links take you to third-party booking sites, resorts, and tour operators. We are not a party to your transaction with them. Prices, availability, and terms are set by the provider and can change. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, and any dispute about a booking must be resolved with that provider.
Indicative information
Prices, durations, inclusions, and entry requirements shown on the Site are indicative and verified on the “last checked” date displayed per listing. Travel conditions change. Always confirm current details with the provider before booking. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any third-party price or availability figure.
Paid services
We offer digital planning services — the Planning Kit, custom itineraries, and concierge booking — described on our Services page. Each service’s scope, price, and revision terms are listed there. Unless stated otherwise, these are one-time digital products; refunds are handled case by case where a service has not been delivered.
No travel advice
Content on the Site is general travel information, not professional advice. We are not a licensed travel agent, attorney, or financial advisor. You are responsible for your own travel decisions, including safety, insurance, and compliance with entry and health requirements for your destination.
Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, guides, and catalog structure are owned by Plan Punta Cana or our licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them commercially without permission. Provider names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Our total liability for a claim related to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us for a service in the preceding 12 months, or where no payment was made, to US $50.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
